FAQS

  • Are you insured?
Yes, our entire company and it's employees are fully insured under business & auto liability and worker's compensation.  You may at anytime request a copy of our insurance documents.  We have a $1 million Liability Policy, and every technician is insured and covered by workers’ compensation. But that’s just the beginning. Every All Bright technician has been trained to think and act safely, because lives can never be sacrificed in order to cut corners or increase profits.
  • Can I get an estimate for residential window cleaning before you come to my home?
Yes!  We can do that all from the outside and you do not need to be home when we perform the bid.  All we to do is take a quick count of the number of different types of windows (awning, bay, casement, double-hung, French, jalousie, picture, sliding, etc.) in your home, and we will leave the bid in your door or call you back with the price.  Please don’t forget we can also clean your high beams, chandeliers, mirrors, and other glass surfaces!
  • Are your window cleaning technicians experienced?
Our technicians are fully qualified experts who also love their jobs. Our average window cleaning technician has 5 years of window cleaning experience. Each technician is fully covered by our company's insurance. And each and every one is careful, courteous, and concerned about your comfort and the condition of your home—from their uniformed shirts down to their clean, white socks (after all, we do remove our shoes when working indoors)!

Do I have to be home for outside only window washing or gutter cleaning?
No, we will do the work for you and leave a bill in the door for the full amount. Payment is expected at the time of service and arrangements can be made at the time of the appointment to ensure safe receipt of payment.

  • Do I need to be home for any interior services?
First time customers are strongly urged to be home. We would like you to see how we perform the services, and to be available for any questions.  Although not required, we do expect you to perform a thorough walkthrough to be sure work was done to your satisfaction.  If any touch ups are needed as covered under our quality-work guarantee, you must call within 2 days to schedule for a return trip.
  • Do you service on weekends?
Yes, by appointment only.  Our employees value their off days to ensure their rest and relaxation with their individual families so we do not regularly schedule weekend work, but if we cannot work out a suitable schedule during our normal weekday business hours, we will do our best to schedule a mutually convenient weekend appointment.
  • How do I count windows?
Each window (individual piece of glass) counts as one window, no matter how big or small.
  • What causes hard water spots and stains?
Hard water stains can result from a variety of situations, including sprinklers, condensation, building run-off, chemicals, and oxidation from metal screens. Over time, mineral deposits in water collect on the glass and appear as a hazy white or sometimes yellow film. If left on the glass, this film will etch the glass over a period of time.
  • How do you charge for window cleaning?
We charge by the window and do bids from the outside.  If you would like a free estimate, please contact us.
  • How often should I clean my windows?
For businesses with much road traffic it is highly recommended to clean exterior windows monthly or quarterly.  For homes it is suggested to clean at least twice a year.
  • Are windows that are stained or have hard water spots more difficult (and expensive) to clean?
In a word, yes. Windows that have been repeatedly exposed to water (such as sprinklers), pollen, bugs, acid rain, salt and bird droppings, or simply haven’t been washed for a while take longer to clean. That’s why we have discounts on a regular schedule for monthly or quarterly window cleaning.  But even once per year maintenance helps!
  • How long does it usually take?
This is a difficult question to answer due to the variety of homes and amount of glass installed.  But on an It usually takes a one / two man crew about 1–3 hours depending on the number of windows, screens, storms, French windows etc.
  • What if I want my windows cleaned on a regular basis? Do you clean year ’round?
We clean windows every week of the year. Enroll in our Quarterly program. Take pride in your glistening clean windows all year long, rather than just once a year!
  • What about the mess? Will my carpet and walls get dirty?
Our crews have been trained to be very careful to avoid this issue while in your home or business. They clean up any dripping on sills, they use drop cloths and, of course, our employees remove their shoes or put booties on at your front door.
  • What do I need to do before your arrival?
We have our own supplies and equipment. All we ask is that there is a clear path to the windows. Remove any antiques, heirlooms, breakables, “nick-knacks”, etc. and furniture that may be in front of the window, or on the window sills.
  • What do you use to wash the windows?
Our technicians use a special eco-friendly window cleaning solution and water to wash the windows. It is environmentally safe, non -abrasive and it doesn’t leave streaks.
  • What if it rains on my scheduled cleaning day?
Normal weather conditions rarely affect the finished result of the work we do.  Rain water itself is relatively pure and does not leave spots on the windows.  On days it rains we are sure to clean the exterior sills extra well so that rain water does not splash on a sill back onto your clean windows. We have a “NO SPOTS IF IT RAINS GUARANTEE”. We guarantee there will be no spots from rain on your windows at least for 48 hours after we clean them. If you see spots, please give us a call and we will happily re-clean them at no charge and no hassle.  On days when extreme weather is in question, the customer may contact us to arrange a reschedule. Please keep in mind when rescheduling during our busy season, it is not unusual to get an appointment 3-4 weeks out.  We are very busy in the spring and fall months and most appointment are made several months in advance.  It is strongly encouraged to keep your original appointment if at all possible.
  • What time of day can I schedule service?
Our hours of operation are Monday - Friday 8am - 6pm.  We only guarantee the first appointment time of the day 8am.  We can give you an approximate time of day for other appointments, but in our many years of experience in this industry we have found that window cleaning is much like plumbing, there are so many factors that can contribute to the factor of time.  We do not wish to irritate our customers promising a time when we know for certain that we cannot guarantee it.  We would be happy to give you an approximate time of day and call you when we are on our way to your home or office if you need a more exact time.  Thank you for understanding this difficulty in our line of work.
  • Will you price match?
If you can provide us with a written estimate of a competitor along with a current copy of their in-force insurance policies for liability and worker's compensation, we will beat their price by 10%.
  • Why do you need a copy of our competitor's insurance policy to price match?
  • We strive to offer very competitive prices but understand that many in the area are offering lower than quality pricing due to their being under or uninsured.  In fact, many obtain their policy declarations page and then cancel the insurance so they have "proof of insurance" but are not truly insured.  This warps quality pricing and can really put the home/business owner at risk if the contractor gets hurt on the customers property, they can file a claim against the home/business or owner themselves.  We pride ourselves in always having current insurance and cannot afford to offer low quality pricing.  This would not be fair to our other quality customers who are receiving a fair competitive price.
  • Are you competitively priced?
You’ve heard the saying: “You can have service, quality or price. Pick two.” Yes, we’re competitively priced, but we’re not the cheapest. We’re efficient, but we’re not slap-dash. But most importantly, we do it right,  from implementing proper safety precautions to the quality of the work we perform, All Bright Window Cleaning stands out as the best choice for Flathead Valley's commercial and residential buildings. There is a reason more area homeowners, businesses and building managers choose us for their window cleaning needs than all our competitors combined!
  • How do you clean the gutters?
Our technicians come fully equipped with extension ladders and we clean out the gutters by hand and take away all of the debris.
  • How do you charge for roof, gutters and downspouts?
We charge by the hour and so your charge depends on how thorough of a job you want done.
  • Will you flush out the downspouts?
Yes, just let us know at the time you make the appointment.
  • What areas do you service?
We provide services from Eureka to Polson, including Whitefish, Columbia Falls, Lakeside, West Glacier, Marion, Kalispell & all points in between. Our company is growing & our service is expanding to meet the needs of our new outer lying clientele.
  • What is the most economical time of year to have my building’s windows cleaned?
February, one month earlier than most people are thinking about it, will usually result in a savings up to 20%. If you have your windows cleaned only once or twice a year it doesn’t really matter which month, except for the savings. Or, you can choose to have the inside only completed at that time, if that is your preference.
  • What makes All Bright unique?
In a word respect. We have high standards. We require a clean cut and professional look, attitude and decorum from each worker. We start out by recruiting and hiring high caliber people then we all work to maintain a company culture and atmosphere where professionalism and dignity are highly valued. This translates into how our employees treat each other and our customers, including our customers' property and tenants.
